The women in my family went to The Outer You for hair and makeup for my wedding. I actually had my hair lightened by Sarah a few weeks prior and she was so friendly that I knew I had to request her. I showed her a reference and she was able to match it, while staying true to my own style. The level of hospitality was impressive as well; they had prepared snacks and we got to enjoy some great girl time. The one not so good thing I will say is that I had gone the day prior to have my nails done and had an unfortunate experience to say the least. I was late, but the woman who did them had an attitude to the extent that I actually cried and my manicure was done so poorly that I had to have it redone down the street. Suffice to say I would advise that you have your nails done elsewhere. Since I’d had such a good time with Sarah, I was still confident in her abilities for the next day and am glad I returned. I would definitely recommend her services any day!
I drive 1.5 hours (today in snow) from west of Charlottesville to have him cut and color my hair.
So where do I begin? I had my hair cut at a different salon today and the girl butchered my hair. My sister suggested that I go in and talk to Ritchie. They were really busy but he found time to look at the mess the other salon had created with my hair. He made me feel welcomed and even though I didn't have an appointment, he welcomed me. Everyone in here was so nice. He took care of me without even blinking. This is the only place that I will ever go for hair care. Thanks Ritchie!!!
