Unethical doctors in the ER. Will be going to the DOM or above. They need all new staff. I can hardly walk and had internal hemorrhaging and they sent me home with ibuprofen and didn't fix the problem...
Amazing staff in the ER. Caring, professional and attentive. I can’t say enough good things about what these people do everyday. It’s nothing short of amazing.
I needed a ventilator after an accident and no one at the hospital was qualified to use it. They had to fly me to the Lynchburg hospital.
I've been to many Centra establishments. They are all not good. Sadly there are no other options.

I had surgery yesterday. I have never experienced such kindness and compassion in any other hospital. The staff at information desk, the staff that processed my paperwork, and nurses and anesthesiologist were so kind. I would never consider another hospital after finding this one.
It really is hit or miss at this place. The nurses are usually good. Sometimes you get a good doctor, but most are pretty stupid. I mean what doctor says take ibuprofen for kidney stones? That's right, a stupid doctor! Then there is the billing department. You may never get the first bill until they send you to a collection agency, which they own. Only go here if you're desperate.
